This project was developed for a boutique eco-resort located in the coastal area of Tulum, Mexico, a region well known for its off-grid tourism and sustainable hospitality concepts. The client aimed to create a unique glamping experience that combines comfort, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility. A cluster of SI PLUS capsule houses (approx. 320 sq. ft. / 30 m² each) was deployed, each featuring a bedroom, bathroom, and leisure area. The modular design enabled fast installation and flexible expansion as the business grows.
Challenges
1. Limited infrastructure in remote coastal location; 2. Requirement for eco-friendly and sustainable operation; 3. Need for fast deployment and scalable expansion; 4. Ensuring guest comfort in tropical climate conditions.
Our Solution
We provided a modular resort solution combining prefabricated housing with a hybrid energy and centralized water system. Each unit is equipped with an independent solar setup for basic power needs, while a centralized water treatment system ensures consistent and safe water supply across the site.
Key Systems
SI PLUS Capsule Housing Units (6–10 units).
1.5 kW Solar System with 2 kWh Battery per unit.
Centralized Water Filtration System (1,500 L/day capacity).
